Description

Victoria Empress, 1000 Rupees Unifaced, Green Underprint, Sign by Stephen Jacob, issued from Lahore or Calcutta on 27 November 1883. Prefix E29 (Jhun# 7.1D.2). 3 parts joined to make it in one note, repaired from backside, nice paper, Very Fine for the type, Extremely Rare. Its extremely rare to get such high value notes, as these notes were used only for Internal Banking Transactions. Interesting fact that 1000 Rupees of that time were equal to 67 Gold Mohurs. Great chance to get such extremely rare note.
