George VI, 100 Rupees, Sign C D Deshmukh, Issued from the Kanpur Circle, Portrait facing front type Watermark, Prefix B83, Serial Number in Green (Jhun# 7.2K). Usual pin holes, and a tiny hole in the centre and on the watermark panel, central and horizontal folds, no graffiti, nice whitish paper, Very Rare. The notes of 100 Rupees signed by C D Deshmukh in Green Serial numbers were issued in Independent India after 15th August 1947, hence these are earliest notes of modern India.
