Uncirculated.A complete original booklet of 25 notes of this 1 Rupee note that has remained intact since its printing back in the 1930s. An exceptional offering, one of a limited number of such original booklets we have seen, and much nicer than typically for this issue when still in the original booklet, as these were typically banged up, stored improperly, or otherwise impaired. The nicer booklets have typically been broken up as original notes in Gem Uncirculated grades have started selling for large premiums, further reducing the supply of original booklets. The present booklet is entirely intact (unexploded in philatelic terms), and the staple is original but slightly rusted. The notes themselves are fresh, however, and we suspect that many notes would grade at the Gem Uncirculated level or finer.
