INDIA - PRINCELY STATES. Government of Hyderabad. 100 Rupees, FE1334. P-S266e. Jhun&Rez 7.10.3. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.Hyder Nawaz Jung signature. An original an appealing example of this important type from Hyderabad. The princely states of India were semi-autonomous regions ruled by local monarchs under British suzerainty. Hyderabad was one of them and issued a series of bank notes printed by Waterlow & Sons including the present example. None are common in uncirculated grades, and demand typically far exceeds demand. This example quite unusually is seen with fully original color and would be perfect for an advanced type set of this well designed and appealing series. PMG Comments "Spindle Holes at Issue."Estimate: $4,000 - $6,000.
