PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.Tied for finest in the PMG population report and a deceptively difficult type from shortly after India gained its independence. Uncirculated examples of this type seldom appear for sale and are typically hotly contested. This variety with red serial number, first released in circulation in late July 1953. Good eye appeal is seen on this example which would be perfect for an advanced type set. PMG Comments "Staple Holes at Issue."Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
