INDIA. 2 Rupees - 8 Annas, ND (1917). P-2.A rare denomination which is only available with the M.M.S. Gubbay signature. This note shows a bright guilloche at center with nice detail remaining. It lacks larger splits but is seen with more general circulation with many small edge tears and a few internal splits with the largest residing at the dead center of the note. A likable low serial number is noticed and although heavily circulated, we feel this note retains considerable appeal for the technical grade.Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. Very Good
