BURMA. Reserve Bank of India. 100 Rupees, ND (1945). P-29b. (5.12.2) C.D. Deshmukh signature. Prefix B 23. A note which pairs quite nicely to the previous lot with nearly identical graffiti in the watermark field at left reading 16/16 in blue ink. Red overprinted "Military Administration, of Burma," at top and "Legal Tender in, Burma Only," below. Seen with quite pleasing appeal for the type with only typical staple holes at left with a bit of rust damage. An elusive piece which again pairs well with the previous lot. Estimate: $500 - $700.
