Description

British India, 1917, King George V, 1 Rupee, Universalised Circle, Signed by M.M.S. Gubbay, E Prefix, S. No. E55 910837, (KJ & RR # 3.1.1B), Correct Gujarati, exceptional paper quality, note unaffected by issues in selvage, graded by PMG as 65 Gem Uncirculated EPQ, Extremely Rare. Note: This first banknote in the King George V portrait series was issued 104 years ago. It has managed to survive with its booklet selvage in its original colour, and the crisp quality of the paper has maintained its sheer brilliance without any stains or spots.
