British India, 1925, King George V, 10 Rupees , Signed by H. Denning , D Prefix, S. No. D67 990505, (KJ & RR # 3.6A.1), minor folds, holes, minor stains, choice extremely fine, Very Rare. Note: The second banknote in 10 Rupees series with the portrait of King George V, which was released in 1925. This whole series is fascinating with variations in the placement of serial numbers, watermark varieties and signatories. The 'Star of India' and a motto was used on the reverse. This banknote is of the type with the serial number on the top-right and bottom-left. This is an extremely attractive specimen with its original colour retained.
