Republic India , 1959, 100 Rupees, Persian Gulf Issue, Signed by H. V. R. Iyengar, Z Prefix, S. No. Z0 937500, (KJ & RR # 6.12.4.1), restoration, pin holes at issue, graded by PMG as 30 Very Fine, Extremely Rare. Note: This banknote is of the highest denomination in the Persian Gulf series. It is a well-preserved example with great paper quality and no signs of stains or graffiti are noted. The staple holes are located in the border of the design and are difficult to detect. The Z prefix on this note identifies it as a "Persian Gulf Note" which the Reserve Bank of India circulated in Bahrain, Muscat & Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
