Description

British India , 1930, King George V , 50 Rupees, Bombay Circle, Signed by J. B. Taylor , V Prefix, S. No. V8 186081, Printed in Nasik, (KJ & RR # 3.9.2A), pin and spindle holes, folds, multiple holes, choice very fine, Extremely Rare. Note: This is a rare and gorgeous banknote in its original colours and a well centered watermark. This quite rare denomination is seldom offered. They were released for 7 different circles of British India with 2 signatories. V8 is the second prefix for this variety. Mild stains at the tip of an edge and small tears do not detract from its overall appearance. A key note in both the British India series and the King George V realm.
