British India, 1917, King George V, 1 Rupee, Bombay Circle, 1 st Print, Signed by M.M.S. Gubbay, B Prefix, S. No. B37 919705, (KJ & RR # 3.1.1A), Wrong Gujarati, no holes, folds and stains, exceptional paper quality, graded by PMG as 64 Choice Uncirculated, Very Rare. Note: This first banknote in the King George V portrait series was issued 104 years ago. It was issued for the Bombay circle and has managed to survive with its original colour, and the crisp quality of the paper has maintained its sheer brilliance without any stains or spots.
