Description

Description Rarely Seen Denomination in Uncirculated Grade India Government of India, Calcutta 2 Rupees, 8 Annas ND (1917) Pick 2 Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 3.3.1A-G PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 . A simply amazing and rarely seen Uncirculated 2 Rupees, 8 Annas issued via Calcutta as evidenced by the prefix "C". Sharp corners and Uncirculated paper are easily seen through the third party holder. This denomination was briefly included in the KGV series to bridge the gap between the 1 Rupee note or coin and the 5 Rupees note after World War II when the price of silver rose dramatically. Ultimately, this type did not circulate as extensively as the other denominations and proves quite scarce in the marketplace today, especially in Uncirculated grade. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64。 View Certification Details from PMG
