Description

Description Very Rare Early Indian Specimen India Government of India 5 Rupees 8.4.1915 Pick A5s Specimen A lovely example of this early Indian "white note" that is the first specimen that we have seen of this Pick number. It is similar to notes issued by the Government of Hong Kong and was meant to be signed by the Financial Secretary. Issued from 1907 to 1915, these early British Administration notes are unique in that they featured eight panels which displayed the denomination in eight different languages, due to India's diverse population. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ, with deeply printed details and excellent color. View Certification Details from PMG
