Description Finest PMG Graded 50 Rupias Specimen Portuguese India Banco Nacional Ultramarino 50 Rupias ND (1906-18) Pick 18s Specimen. A uniface specimen of the highest denomination of this series. A very attractive and intricate main design is seen, featuring an allegorical woman with a trident, enhanced by the brilliant underprint colors. A wonderful example that carries all trademarks of Bradbury Wilkinson notes of this era. Interestingly, the left hand counterfoil is not included on this example that could be categorized as a proof, as there are no signatures, seals, or serial numbers except for a roulette canceled "Specimen" in the right signature area.
