Description India Government of India 1 Rupee 1917 Pick 1s Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. Issued during World War I, this simply designed note depicts the 1 Rupee coin which it was intended to supplement due to wartime needs. This example, bearing a low serial number 7, is stamped SPECIMEN in the lower right corner on the face. There have been only three other auction appearances of this Pick number in Specimen form, with the last occurring almost six years ago. PMG notes minor edge damage on the left end. Some of these notes were issued in booklets of twenty five notes with perforations and it appears that this note did not come out of its booklet cleanly. View Certification Details from PMG
