Description

Description Highest Denomination 100 Rupees Persian Gulf Issue India Reserve Bank, Persian Gulf Issue 100 Rupees ND (1959-70) Pick R4 Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 6.12.4.1 PMG About Uncirculated 50 . The Reserve Bank of India's "Persian Gulf Issue" was created after India reigned in the outward flow of Rupees to other trading partner nations or territories in the greater region. Denominations of 1, 5, 10, 100 Rupees were created for use in the Persian Gulf, which shared the same design as banknotes circulating in India, but with different color schemes. This splendid 100 Rupees is lightly circulated, with staple holes and pinholes mentioned for accuracy. Rare in any grade and popular, as the Indian Rupee circulated in the Persian Gulf states until they each respectively achieved independence and created their own national currencies. PMG About Uncirculated 50。
