Description

Description Burma Reserve Bank of India 5 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 1a Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 5.1.1B PMG Extremely Fine 40 . In 1937, small runs of unused King George V notes printed for India were repurposed for use in neighboring Burma. This variety, with red overprints in the margins, is scarce, as only prefixes T/18 to T/22 were overprinted in this way. PMG has graded only 28 examples of this variety, which is seldom seen today. Especially desirable in this excellent, problem-free condition. View Certification Details from PMG
