Description

Description Second Finest Graded Bombay 1000 Rupees India Reserve Bank of India, Bombay 1000 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 21a Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 4.8.1A PMG About Uncirculated 53 . An elite example of a high value, grandly sized banknote, and a type very popular with collectors worldwide. This example is significantly better than typical, with just traces of brief circulation and a deep ink stamp seen on both sides of the note. Notice the punch-through embossing and unusually excellent paper quality of this example. Spindle holes and mounting remnants are mentioned for accuracy. At the time of cataloging, the PMG Population Report has graded 68 examples, with only one grading higher than the note offered. Rare in the best of grades due to the size of this note and the relatively thin paper used for printing. PMG About Uncirculated 53。 View Certification Details from PMG
