An interesting note that consists of the left half of an excessively rare example of an earlier Indian note that is not listed in the Krause reference with a Lahore place of issue. It matches up with the 500 Rupee note listed in the reference as Pick A18 but with a different issue date and place of issue. Even with the right half of the note missing, it is sure to be in great demand by the Indian specialists.
