Description

Description Burma Reserve Bank of India 10 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 2b Jhun5.2.1A PMG About Uncirculated 50 . Before King George VI notes could be printed in India and shipped to Burma, some Reserve Bank of India notes were repurposed for Burma. Only two small groups of prefixes are known to be overprinted for Burma. The first batch was overprinted in black, and the second in red. This handsome example is from the first group and it is scarce in excellent collector grade. Staple holes at issue are mentioned for accuracy. View Certification Details from PMG
