Description India Government of India 100 Rupees ND (1917-30) Pick 10d Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 3.10.2A PMG Choice Very Fine 35. A handsome and mildly circulated example of the distinct and popular large format issue for British India. Replacing the enormously sized uniface types in 1927, this new portrait series was issued with city codes throughout the British controlled areas. This note was issued from Bombay. Beautifully and uniquely colored, with pastel green, purple, and orange hues. PMG notes the ubiquitous spindle holes.
