Description 1924 10 Rupias Specimen Portuguese India Banco Nacional Ultramarino 10 Rupias 1.1.1924 Pick 26s Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 12.16.1 Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63. This denomination shares the same vignettes with the 5 and 20 Rupias notes. The face has the Saptakoteshwar Temple of Lord Shiva at center and the back has a Bengal tiger at gallop. The 1924 issue was the third "Banco Nacional Ultramarino" issue. It was replaced by the 1929 issue which had only the 1, 5, and 10 Rupias denominations. This is a well margined Specimen with blazing ink colors and just very minor evidence of a previous mounting on the back.
