A pleasing mid-grade example, this 100 Rupee note represents a variety that is not listed in the Pick catalog. In the Krause reference, the only variety for the Delhi place of issue has the watermark of King George VI in profile while, on this example, the watermark is that of a facing portrait. It is certainly a great note for the Indian specialist. Please note the Pick number on the PCGS holder is crossed out in ink.
