Description
Description India Reserve Bank of India, Bombay 1000 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 21a Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 4.8.1A PMG Very Fine 25 . A beautiful and popular banknote, and reasonably the highest denomination of the series that one can hope to obtain. The 10,000 Rupees is of the highest degree of rarity with perhaps only a few examples still unredeemed. Minor repairs, ink, and stamped notations are mentioned for accuracy. Quite a pretty type and exchangeable for over $300 USD during its time in circulation. View Certification Details from PMG
