Description Burma British Administration Government of India 10 Rupees ND (1937) Pick 2b Jhunjhunwalla 5.2.1A Prefix R/47 is found on this rare note with the black "Legal Tender in Burma Only" overprint located at center on both sides. This issue was in circulation from 1937 to 1950. Very few people in Burma had the luxury of being able to put away perfectly good notes for redemption when this issue was withdrawn.
