Description India Reserve Bank 100 Rupees ND (1943) Cawnpore Deshmukh Pick 20h Cawnpore or Kanpur? Both refer to the city in Uttar Pradesh. The city experienced a name change, similar to how Kolkata is the new name for Calcutta and Bombay is known today as Mumbai.
