Description

Description Single Finest Graded Example India Government of India, Bombay 10 Rupees 22.8.1918 Pick A10c Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 2A.2.3B.4 PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 . This large format uniface 10 Rupees featuring the signature of Gubbay and the "B" Bombay indicators is seldom seen in any grade, but especially so in the best of grades. At the time of cataloging, this is the single finest graded example in the PMG Population Report . Spindle holes at issue and pinholes are seen on this otherwise outstanding example. The thin paper and large size of this banknote often prevent such a lofty grade. This example is a rare exception.
