The serial number on this note does not have a prefix, which confirms its limited issuance. The majority of these notes were phased out of circulated when the new design was released in 1945. Additionally, more were withdrawn when Portugal replaced the Indian Rupia with Escudo in 1959. PCGS notes minor stains and that the upper left corner tip is missing.
