Description

Description India Princely States Hyderabad 100 Rupees 1920 Pick S266a Jhun&Rez 7.10.4 PMG Very Fine 30 Net. This interesting and large format type is desirable in any grade. In 1922, the ocean liners Egypt and Steine collided off the French coast, which cost the lives of 86 people onboard. Years later, when the wreckage was salvaged, a cache of these denominations were discovered along with bullion and other valuables. The purple stamp at front demonetized these notes. The majority of the stains have been cleaned, as mentioned on the third party holder. An interesting type, beautifully printed by Waterlow & Sons. View Certification Details from PMG
