Bank of Bengal, 16 Sicca Rupees, 1 Gold Mohur, Calcutta hand signed, numbered and dated, 4th Feb 1825.Personified ’Commerce’ sitting on articles of merchandise in centre above the central panel, value denoted in words and numeralsin Bengali, Persian and Kaithijust above personified ’Commerce’. Serial number placed on the top right and left corners within an ornamented rectangle border, Stamped Cancelled and signature cut; rev. Bengal Bank in Gothic with name of the printer and type of plate in top and lower oval ornamental panel (J&R 1A.3.3.2). Graded by PMG 25 Very Fine, Very Rare.
