George VI, Watermarked sheet for Rupees 10, legend ‘Ten Rupees/Reserve Bank/of/India/Ten Rupees’ in five lines. Sheet contains 40 watermarks, comes along with certificate of authenticity. With usual rough borders and a slight tear, otherwise Very Fine+. Sea sunk treasure, salvaged off the coast of Scotland. In 1940 German bombers sank SS Breda, a ship carrying watermark paper for banknotes to be printed in India.
