Bank of Bengal, 250 Sicca Rupees, Type 1, Calcutta, Uniface, hand signed, numbered and dated, 29th May 1819. Serial number placed in center left; within an ornamented rectangle border, Bank of Bengal written in Bengali, Persian and Devanagari scripts. Stamped ’Cancelled’ and signature cut (as found usually on all notes of this type). (J&R 3.1.1). Very Fine, Very Rare.
