George VI, Rupee 1, 1st issue, 1944, signed C. E. Jones, 'You British Quit India' a rubber stamp impressed on one of the notes, (Jhun #1.1A & 1.1C). Fine to Very Fine. (4) Low denomination banknotes, match labels, cigarette packs etc were mediums used for propaganda of the freedom struggle amongst the masses. This note has been a part of a collection formed over 40 years ago.
