A strong example of the 50 Rupees note with vivid color and bold engraving. This denomination is scarcer than the adjacent 10 and 100 Rupees, as fewer notes were produced. This example is from the Bombay branch and features the signature of J.B. Taylor. The portrait of King George V on the right faces a watermark portrait on the left.
