Republic India , 1975, 1000 Rupees, Bombay Circle, Paper Manufacturing Error (Existence of a partial Security Thread), Signed by N.C. Sengupta, A Prefix, S. No. A0 960910, a picture of Brihadeeswara temple at Tanjore on the reverse, (RM & AM # R10.10), holes, folds, stains, and seals, graded by PMCS as 25 Very Fine, Exceptionally Rare. Note: This vintage 1000 Rupees banknote, featuring the Brihadeesware temple at Tanjore on the reverse and signed by N.C. Sengupta, with a 'security thread' that is visibly clear is a unique find making it the first known instance. There are two plausible scenarios: it might be a trial or experimental issue inadvertently released into circulation, or it could be an error stemming from the inappropriate manufacturing of the banknote paper. A significant observance is its grading with an acknowledgment of being an error. This extraordinary rarity is being offered for the first time in any auction.
