1901 India 10 Rupees NoteINDIA. Government of India. 10 Rupees, 1867-1901. P-A7p. PMG Very Fine 25.Calcutta. Signature of A.F. Cox. PMG's pop report states they have encapsulated a mere six examples of this February 13, 1901 dated 10 Rupees large format note. This scarcely encountered 10 Rupees note is uniface, and the front displays an ornate design at top around the bank name, with dark green undertint around the serial numbers and making up the "TEN" underprint. An annotation is found on the reverse of the note. PMG comments "Spindle Holes at Issue."Estimate: $3,000 - $4,000.
