Description

Excessively Rare 100 Rupees King George VINDIA. British Administration. 100 Rupees, ND (1917-30). P-10c. PMG About Uncirculated 50.Jhun3.10.1C. Bombay. An extremely sought after treasure from the British Administration showcasing bright inks and excellent detail throughout its entirety. This tougher variety contains the H. Denning signature at lower right. PMG comments "Spindle Hole at Issue" which is as close to a guaranteed given for the type, and by our estimation, is the only mentionable defect to the paper aside from very faint handling. PMG has only certified 6 for this rare variety and only one other example besides this cracks the About Uncirculated grade level. The note boasts good centering and showcases an intricate floral pattern throughout its borders with of course the popular King George V vignette at right.Estimate: $12,000 - $13,000.
