Indo-Portuguese, 1938, 5 (Cinco) Rupias, Banco Nacional Ultramarino, 5th Issue, Signed by President of Administrative Council Antonio Dos Santos Viegas & Administrator Joao Baptista De Araujo, S. No. 312118, a vignette from the Sri Saptakoteshwar Temple in Goa, at the center of the obverse & a charging tiger in the center on the reverse, (KJ & RR # 12.24.2), folds, stains, about extremely fine, Very Rare. Note: This well-preserved large-sized note from the Portuguese India issue in Goa remains free of any perforations and retains its original vibrant color. The obverse features a vignette showcasing the Sri Saptakoteshwar Temple in Goa, while the reverse depicts a charging tiger at the center.
