Indo-Portuguese, 1938, Specimen 5 (Cinco) Rupias, Banco Nacional Ultramarino, 5th Issue, Signed by President of Administrative Council Antonio Dos Santos Viegas & Administrator Manuel Rodrigues Junior, S. No. 000000, 'SPECIMEN No 10' on obverse at bottom left, (KJ & RR # 12.24.3), printer's annotation, strong paper quality, crisp, about extremely fine, Extremely Rare. Note: This is a well-preserved large-sized note, without any punches and has maintained its original vibrant color. There is a vignette from the Sri Saptakoteshwar Temple in Goa, at the center of the obverse & a charging tiger in the center on the reverse. These were printed by Thomas de la Rue, London. This banknote bears the specimen no 10 and, the red seal of DE LA RUE & Co with Specimen & Cancelled on the right side.
