French India , 1945, 1 Roupie , 'ANNULE' (Cancelled), Banque de l'Indochine, Pondicherry, Signed by Emile Minost & Jean Laurent, Dated 8 September 1945, S. No. G.129-492, (KJ & RR # 13.1.7a) , with usual folds and stains, pin and cancelled hole, about very fine, Very Rare. Note: This is a rare banknote in its issued form. These were printed on unwatermarked paper. The vignette of the profile of Marianne wearing a helmet can be seen on the left. It has great colour and embossing. It has been cancelled with an ‘ANNULE’ stamp on both the obverse and reverse sides.
