Victoria, Uniface, Cancelled, 100 rupees, 1st issue, Green underprint, Calcutta circle, dated 8 Oct. 1881, serial no.: P42 16025, CANCELLED stamped multiple times in black ink with signature cut and Cancellation holes, handwritten in black ink at the left side Cancel. 16/9/82 that indicates it was cancelled on 16-9-1882 and another at top left side, J&R 2A.5.1A type. Note is in 4 halves joined together, Very fine, Very rare. It was cancelled stamped and bears four punched holes in the middle and two on upper middle of the note. It bears its cancellation date 16 9-1882 handwritten in black ink.Similar 100 rupees note was sold in our Auction 37, Lot 976 at hammer Rs. 2,50,000.
